Whew...

It's 10:15 pm on 12/19.

All of my Christmas shopping is done.

Well, except for my Mom. I still have no idea what to get her. My sister has been NO help whatsoever.

I did manage to get her (my sis) something that she really wants, and my niece as well. The trick lies in not letting them know what they got.

I also managed to get Sis's S.O. something that they both need....as well as something just for him....

It's been a busy day.

We stopped at the Pinon on the way home, and I'm pretty fuckerd up. Good thing it's only about 150 yards (if that)from there to my driveway.

On a side note.....if you read here, please let me know.

I am a human animal, after all, and I would kill to know who's dropping by.

Mi gato y queso,

T.

I'm dreaming of a....

White Christmas.

This is what I woke up to yesterday morning. There was less than half an inch on my way home Sunday. God was busy during the night.

It's been pretty hectic lately, thus the lack of posting. Some notable highlights:

1. My beloved Carmex has gone the way of all flesh. Yes, our journey together is finally finished.

2. My psycho ex has become even more so in the past week or so, to the point of harassing my mother through email. She's now blocked. Some people.

4. Had my Christmas party at work yesterday. The gift bag was full of holiday goodness, including gourmet cocoa, and the card, ah, the card. A $50.00 Walmart card, and a 50 dollar bill. Can I get a Hell Yeah!?!

5. Pops and I are going Christmas shopping today, and I envision a marathon session. Walmart 6 days before Christmas. I don't have high hopes of making it out alive. Plus Target, the craft store (sis wants a mickey scrapbook to chronicle our vacations), and anywhere else we may end up. Lunch, of course will be In and Out. I'm so glad we finally got one here.

Ok, there's your brief update. I'll try to blog later (as if any of you really care to hear my day-to-day) but no promises. I have a feeling that I'm going to be pretty worked by the time I get home.

Wishing all of you the best Chrismachaunaquanzaka ever.

Buenos con queso,

The answer it beer.....

It doesn't really matter what the question is.

The answer is: Beer.

Ima bit tipsy, and Ima bit loose.

Here's some advice, and it was Jefferson Airplane that said it:

You better find somebody to love.

Well, as I've given up on that, I guess I'm just looking for someone to get plowed with.

If you know any 'party girls' in the CA/NV area, give them my addy. We'll go out and drink lots of alcohol and have a GREAT time.

Tell all your friends about me...

Well, the beer is catching up with me...

Stomach churning

Bowels cleching

Sorry.

That's a Simpson's quote. Gawd, I love Homer. He's such a tool.

I'm on the phone right now ( say hi to Jessi.)

Time for me to take a shower, but I just thought I'd drop in.

Going out to party tonight, and I hope all goes well. I'll try and bring back some pictures.

Queso y gatos,

The whole wide world an endless universe...

Yet, we keep looking through,
The eyeglass in reverse.

Don't feed the people,
But we feed the machines....

There's some more Rush lyrics for you. The song is called Territories, and it's on the Power Windows cd. If you don't know the song, I highly recommend it. If you do, then by all means, listen to it.

It's been a tough couplea days. I think I mentioned losing a friend at work. That, despite any personal feelings has affected me in other ways as well. Today is Friday, and I'm not at work. That's a comparative rarity. I also have Tuesday off. The split day off thing is a mixed blessing. Shorter weeks, but shorter days off too.

It was a good day, for the most part. Pops and I headed over to Aimee's house, and watched 3/5 of Elf. Also, we scored an entire loaf of Spice Loaf. My sister assures me that one slice has more calories and more something else than a can of soda.

I give it 3 days. I don't know if I've told you this or not, but our house is where sweets come to die. You know how we have 'the boogey man?' Sweet stuff tells it's young about our house. 'Be good, or Pops and T.J.'ll get you.' Hell, I've been known to drink a whole 6-pack of soda in an evening.

Believe it or not, I still have this jar of Carmex.

It's much closer to being empty now, and I think I'm going to make it to the end. We're approaching 3 years with the same Carmex. I'm not sure, but I think that's a record.

Not just for me, but worldwide. Hell, if nobody can dispute it, I'll claim the title right now.

I think Pops is making turkey pot pie. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about the 9 for a dollar Wal-Mart specials, or even the expensive Marie Callender's ones. He's down there with pie dough, diced veggies, and turkey stock/soup that he made from our dead bird.

I'm so fucking spoiled. If anybody reading this is close enough to stop by for some, by all means, show up.

Guess I'm done.

Si muedeo mi vaca,

My brain is stuck in first gear.....

I really have nothing noteworthy or earth-shattering to report. It's been back to the grind ever since I got home from California.

We lost another operator at work. It's a real bummer for 2 reasons. She was a real hoot to work with, and on top of that was a fantastic operator. She picked everything up really fast, and was just a rockin' employee.

I'ma miss her alot, as an operator, and as a friend.

Thanksgiving dinner was great, but I was fighting a sore throat cold thing, so I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I might have. We ate at my sister's house, and then I worked from 5:30-11:00 pm. Everyone works on holidays, you see.

We had our first snow on Monday last. In total we got about 1.5 inches, depending where in town you were. This was followed by just enough rain to melt all the snow. I'm ok with that. Driving in the snow is such a pain in the ass.

Gnagahh.....

Guess that's all you get. Brain won't engage.

Se muedo me vaca,

T.
