So here we are.
The end of January, and I finally managed to do one of the monthly topics all the way through. The closest I got before was with my series of 'letter' posts.
Wasn't that fun?
This month has been all about change, and, while writing about it, I have experienced it as well. I mean, haven't we all changed this month?
At least a little?
So, here we are.
This month has seen the 22nd anniversary of my 21st birthday (thanks again for the wishes all), a visit from my son, some rain, some snow, some laughter, some tears, some sunshine, and some bitter cold.
I've made it through, and so have you, and I guess that's what really matters. Making it through. I know I joke and rant and swear alot on here, but I also have my deeply held beliefs, and at times I share those too.
I just wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate that you come hang out and read this stuff. I'm constantly amazed at how important we can become to each other through such a tenous connection, but I'm also grateful for it. It makes me feel good when I see a comment (or even a visit) from one of my 'blog posse.'
So, thanks, all of you.
*muah*
In other news.....
Tomorrow starts the 'Want List,' or the next NaBloPoMo thing. Now, just so that I don't scare you all away thinking that the next 28 days are going to be full of me begging and pleading for all the goodies in the world, I promise I won't beg.
And I'll only show you one thing a day that I want.....At the end of the month, you will have 28 items from which to choose, and with which to shower me.....
I also wanted to ask if y'all noticed that I changed my sign off phrase this month. Several times, actually. I thought that I'd 'change' that for the month too. If you didn't notice, go back and check them out.
There are some pretty funny ones.
Amor del mono,

A Changing of the Guard.....
Again, the title is much more dramatic than the post.....
So, we're down to the very end of it.
Well, January that is.
A lot has happened this month, not the least of which was a visit from Michael.
It was pretty badass having him here for my bday.
Oh, and a changeupdate....he's supposed to be sending me more, so those of you that asked, be prepared for a second shipment.
In other news, I found a mistake in a movie.....
Yeah, big surprise, right?
This one tho....I mean....fuck...
Ok, have you seen the movie Juno? Well, as usual, I was late to the trough on this one, and only watched it for the first time like....I don't know, 4 or 5 days ago.... So, I'm watching it, and likin' it a lot, but I knew I didn't have enough time to watch the whole thing 'cause I had to be at work before it ended, and I'm runnin' around trying to get as ready as I can, so I can watch as much as I can....
I then I get not one, but two phone calls that required me to go downstairs and give Pops the phone.....
I mean, the world was conspiring to keep me from watching the thing, and then it happened.
Juno began explaining to Jason Bateman's character that her father had gone though a period where he was into Greek and Roman mythology, and named her after Juno, Zeus's wife.
Ok, now bear with me. I, too, went though my 'mythology' phase, and I saw through this immediately. Zeus, a Greek god, would not, and in fact could not have married Juno, a Roman goddess.....
Don't belive me?
Hah!! Look it up.
G'wan, I dare ya.
Now, that being said, I fucking love this movie. There are so many fucking kickass lines in this movie, that it borders on the obscene. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.
Cincuenta del la luna,

Bring a change of clothing.....
But only if you plan on spending the night.....
I'm in kind of a thoughful mood tonight, and I have to tell you that it's kinda by accident.....
Some time ago, I found Whiskeymarie, who's link is over there ----->
Somewhere in the same time frame (it may have been wm saying that she was her blog crush but dont hold me to that) I added
this blog to my favorites list.
Ok, so it may have been Sizzle that sent me there.
Either way, I wasy trying to hit up WM, and, as BYW is right above it in my favorites list, I opened BYW instead of WM.
You should go read this post.
It kinda makes me feel ok about some of the crap I had to post this month in order to not blow the whole NaBloPoMo thing.....
But, you really should read some of my older shit....it's pretty fucking funny.

I've had a change of heart.....
No, not really.
It's just another in the loooong line of 'change phrases' that I've come up with for this month's posting frenzy.
So, yeah, I guess I've decided to go ahead and try to do February too.
I mean, I can't let down my public, right?
I don't really have much today, and that's the only problem with posting every day. Some days nothing happens that's really worth sharing. I mean, do you really want to know that I went to the motorcycle shop next door and got boxes and packing material from them?
I didn't think so.
Or that Pops got a couple new tires for the car?
Yeah, it's not earth-shattering. Hell, it's hardly worth mentioning.
Just about the only other thing that happened today was that since Pops had to have the car to put tires on her, I walked to/from work.
I know, right? I'll bet y'all can barely contain your excitement.
Ok, take a deep breath....and another.....try and stop your hands from shaking...
There you go.
See what happens when I drop these bombshell events? You really should be taking your heart meds, because I don't want to be responsible if something happens to you.
El camino real,
T.

We've changed all that.....
All that stuff you thought you knew about those things?
Yeah, we've changed all that.
Actually, that's a quote from Molière, and if you've ever read The Physician in Spite of Himself , perhaps you'll remember it.
Or if you haven't, you won't.
Either way, I can't believe it took me almost a month to remember that one. I was doing research for a paper on the famous Mr. M when I stumbled across the quote, and another that I think I blogged about before (ill have to check) and when we actually had to read the play for my Lit class, I can't tell you how funny it was in context.
So, yeah...
NaBloPoMo has sent out emails for the February topic, and it is 'want.'
Now, don't get me wrong, there are plenty of things I want, I just don't know if I have it in me to not fuck up for another 28 days in a row (that is if i don't miss one of the last 4 days in jan) cause this shit's fucking hard.
Not the actual posting, of course. As most of you know, I have no problem finding something to talk/rant/bitch about, but the whole 'you have to do it every day' thing can be a bit troublesome.
Again, not for a lack of something to talk/rant/bitch about, but because if I forget (which happens) I feel like a total dipshit/moron/slacker for not posting on a particular day.
Is that normal?
Do the rest of you worry about this shit?
I didn't think so.
Bese el cielo,
